Dr. Bachus

Dr. Kevin Bachus is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Bachus completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Sciences and graduated with high distinction at Colorado State University. After his undergraduate work, he decided to pursue medical training at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
It was during his training that he became interested in many of the complex health care issues facing women and the miracle that culminates in birth. He decided to continue his training by completing an internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Colorado Health Science Center.

His desire to help couples with reproductive problems then led him to further postgraduate training at Duke University Medical Center. While at Duke, Dr Bachus underwent a three-year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. This program provided the training in delicate surgical skills such laser laparoscopic surgery and the microsurgery needed for tubal reversals. It also provided the training in the infertility treatments such as in vitro fertilization. He also dedicated a year to laboratory research focusing on the prevention of scar tissue (adhesion) formation following abdominal surgery. After completing his fellowship Dr Bachus remained on faculty at Duke for four years continuing research as well as helping train others interested in the field.

About Us

In 1995 Dr Bachus decided to return to his hometown in Fort Collins and join his father’s gynecology practice of 35 years. He opened the Rocky Mountain Center for Reproductive Medicine and was immediately successful with the in vitro fertilization program. The clinic has subsequently helped thousands of couples achieve their goal of having children.
